It is the policy of the Seminole County Property Appraiser’s Office to comply with Florida’s public records law and Florida’s retention schedule for public records. Unless exempt or confidential, public records can be obtained via request.
There is no particular format for a public records request. Requests may be made in writing or orally. To help us expedite and avoid delays in processing your request, please be as detailed as possible.
The following records are not available at the Property Appraiser's Office:
Recorded Documents (Deeds, Mortgages, Liens, etc.): These documents are recorded with the Clerk's office. Please visit the Seminole County Clerk of Court's website or call their office at 407-665-4405.
Surveys: Our office does not receive copies of official surveys. Contact your Title Insurance or Mortgage Company.

We offer all of our data free of charge in our Downloads area (in Excel, MS Access and a variety of GIS formats) updated daily and the ability to self-serve most queries from our search pages, however we recognize there are unique requests that need custom processing.
Custom data requests require 10 business days and may incur fees for labor/processing time.
Please click the email button and include a detailed description of the data you are looking for, the format and the filter parameters (i.e. owner name/mailing address for all residential properties that do not have homestead).
